School Experience
Gaining classroom experience and interacting with teaching staff will enable you to gauge if a teaching career is right for you, enhance your understanding of the daily routine of school life, whilst also providing you with the insight into which teacher training route is right for you.
The Kent Oaks Consortium offers applicants who are interested in gaining secondary school experience through the School Experience Programme (SEP) at Knole Academy. Participants interested in teaching in a primary school may also apply for SEP days at one of our partner schools. These are arranged on an individual basis by contacting the Kent Oaks Consortium directly.
You will need to meet the programme requirements below to be able to apply for the School Experience Programme (SEP) at Knole Academy:
-
Have interest in teaching secondary maths, physics, chemistry, languages, computing or design and technology;
-
